Emma Graham-Harrison lives in Kabul, and is the Guardian's Afghanistan and Pakistan editor. She was previously Afghanistan bureau chief for Reuters news agency. She has a degree in Chinese studies and spent nearly six years covering China, based in Beijing.
Marc Atallah is the director of the Maison d'Ailleurs (House of Elsewhere), the museum of science fiction in Yverdon-les Bains. He is also a lecturer and researcher in the French Department at the University of Lausanne.

Juliet K. Stone’s work includes more than three decades as a community organizer and activist. It includes working with over 120 community gardens and the renovation of 80+ Boston Public schoolyards into new play spaces whose design model incorporated outdoor teaching and learning into the scheme.
Birgit Albrecht studied German Literature, Drama and Art Education in Frankfurt / M. 2001-2004, she was deputy director at the Künstlerhaus Schloss Wiepersdorf and 2008-2009 Director of Studies at the Evangelical School of Journalism Berlin. Today she works as a freelance editor and writer in the Berlin in the office of Textetage.
Hannes Grassegger studied economics in Berlin und Zurich. He is now not only head editor of REPORTAGEN magazine, but also writes for the Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin, Die Zeit and Das Magazin.
