Larding needle
Larding needles are used to insert slices of lard into meat before it is roasted. This particular model is shaped like a gutter and is suitable for large cuts of meat. The lard is placed into the gutter and prodded into the meat, along the grain. When the tip of the larding needle emerges the other side, you hold the lard in place as you withdraw the needle.
