Discovery tours

Toddlers are also entitled to a tailor-made tour! This storytelling tour of the museum is an invitation to discover the world around an apple, which participants can follow through its adventures using a selection of objects from our collection. Sensory exploration, observation games and the chance to share ideas make for an interactive visit tailored to the pace of 4-6 year olds.

Touch the plants in the garden, smell the aromatic herbs, bite into an unfamiliar fruit - in this activity we look at food using senses other than sight. You'll recognise familiar smells and discover surprising tastes on this interactive tour where we encourage you to express your senses and share your memories.

This activity has been designed for visually impaired children, but is also suitable for children with other disabilities. This discovery tour is also suitable for children aged 4 to 6.
