Millet sickle
Sickles have been used for harvesting cereals since Prehistory. The first examples were crafted from curved wooden sticks and sharp flint splinters. Their shape has hardly evolved since. This example is used by the Fali people in Cameroon to harvest ‘pinu’ (millet) crops.
